Healing is the central theme of all Brown Girl Recovery work. Annual Healing Summits, Monthly Healing Workshops, and Community Healing Work support that theme.
RACIAL JUSTICE & LIBERATION
Brown Girl Recovery transforms liberation spaces into sites of healing for femmes and folks of color through educating about gender injustice in Black and Brown communities. Through an innovative, culturally responsive, peer to peer counseling model, BGR provides opportunities for both individual and
intra-community healing.
THE BROWN GIRL BRIGADE
The Brown Girl Brigade (BGB) is our team of committed femmes and folks of color dedicated to the development and implementation of our social justice-informed programming. The BGB facilitate healing workshops, perform community outreach, and shape the mission and vision of BGR.
