the bronx heals itself

The Bronx Heals Itself is a community-powered campaign to educate and activate  Bronx-based collectives and long-standing organizations to integrate a healing justice framework into their current and future work with community members. Through our standing work with monthly ancestral healing circles, executing a full scale one-day healing summit convening, and running a Bronx-based youth social justice fellowship program that gives Bronx youth the social, gender, and healing justice education and pedagogy to lead healing circles in their own communities, we have demonstrated a continued commitment to actualizing healing justice and equity in our communities. 

Brown Girl Recovery is not currently accepting applications for the Brigade 2019-2020. Brigade applications will open again in February.
